This Privacy Policy describes how AWJ (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and shares personal information when you use our website awj.ai (the “Service”) or contact us. AWJ is the controller of that information.

We collect and process the personal information you choose to give us:

• Contact detailsName, e-mail address, mobile or phone number.
• Work detailsCompany name, work address and website.
• Your messageWhat you write in the contact form, and your preferred time for a callback.
• Job applicationsYour CV, the area you are interested in, a profile or portfolio link and your covering message.
• Website checkThe web address you enter in the website check and, only if you ask us to follow up, your e-mail address and name. Reports are created on request and are not stored.
• Technical dataYour IP address and basic request data, processed briefly to keep the website secure and to prevent abuse of our forms.
• Usage dataOnly if you accept analytics cookies: the pages you view, how you reached the website, your device and browser type, and your approximate location (country and city). This information is collected with Google Analytics and does not tell us who you are.

Please do not send us sensitive personal information (for example health data or identity numbers). We do not need it to handle your enquiry or application.

We use the information we collect for the following purposes, each with a legal basis under the GDPR:

• MarketingTo tell existing and prospective business contacts about our services — legitimate interest or consent. You can opt out at any time.
• RecruitmentTo assess your application and contact you about it — steps taken at your request, and your consent to keep the application on file.
• AnalyticsTo understand how the website is used and to improve it — consent. You can withdraw it at any time under “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.
• SecurityTo protect the website and our forms against misuse — legitimate interest.

If we want to use your information for any other purpose, we will ask for your consent first and use it only for the purpose you agreed to, unless the law requires otherwise.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providersCompanies that provide our hosting, e-mail and business systems. They act on our instructions and under a data processing agreement.
• Website checkThe web address you enter is sent to Google’s PageSpeed Insights service, which loads the page and returns the measurements. No contact details are sent with it.
• AnalyticsIf you accept analytics cookies, usage data is processed for us by Google (Google Analytics). Advertising features are switched off. Google may process this data in the United States.
• AuthoritiesWhere we are required to do so by law.

Our team works from Sweden, the United States and Türkiye. Where personal information is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we rely on safeguards recognised by the GDPR, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

We keep your personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, and we delete it when you ask us to, unless we are required to keep it.

• EnquiriesKept while we handle your request and any follow-up, then deleted.
• Client recordsKept for the duration of our work together.
• Accounting recordsKept for the period required by Swedish bookkeeping law.
• Job applicationsKept during the recruitment process and for up to 12 months afterwards, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
• Usage dataKept in Google Analytics for no longer than 14 months.

We may need to keep certain information for longer to meet legal record-keeping requirements or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Anonymous and aggregated information that cannot identify you may be kept without a time limit.

You have the right to access your personal data and receive a copy of it, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to our processing, to have your data transferred to another organisation, and to withdraw any consent you have given us.

To exercise these rights, write to us at info@awj.ai. We will respond in accordance with applicable law, normally within one month.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Sweden this is the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), imy.se.

Please note that if you do not provide the information we need, or withdraw your consent, we may not be able to provide the service the information was requested for.
